Nickname:  Saku, Saks

Occupation:  Pirate Captain

Height: 5'5"

Appearance:  Her hair is short and silver in colour and a pair of dark grey canine ears protrude from either side of her head. Her hair is usually pulled back into a small ponytail.  Grey eyes.  Typically wears a dark leather chest plate with protective shoulder on one side.  Likes loose sleeved shirts and high boots.  Her sword is never far from her reach.

Personality:  Sakumei may not be a genius, but she's intuitive and has a deep interest in history and archaeology. She does, however, enjoy acting the simpleton. It gives her an advantage as everyone tends to lower their guard around dim-wits.  Most of the time Saku's intentions are mainly good. Although her laid-back nature, love of money, large appetite and excessive drinking might state otherwise. While she likes to call herself a fearless hero, Saku is certainly not above running away with her tail between her legs.  Sakumei also loves a challenge and is quite infamous for biting off more than she can chew.

Background:  Comes from along line of Pirates and so it was expected that the family continue the grand tradition.  Unfortunately her parents only had the one child.  Saku didn't let being a girl stop her.  She completed her first voyage as a ships cook apprentice at age 13 (disguised as a boy - because everyone knows it's bad luck to have women on board - they might try to tidy the place up).  She quickly rose through the ranks, showing a remarkable aptitude for her chosen profession.  When she raised enough funds, she bought her own ship.  Has been one of the terror of the seas ever since.

Random oddities:  Can get very off track if not stopped early - this has led to many of her more fortuitous adventures.  Has a love for Kareoke.  Once thought about wearing an eye patch just for the hell of it.  Is only close to Reffinest as her personality seems to scare others away.

Name:  Reffinest Ginbokou

Nickname:  Raffy

Occupation:  First Mate

Height: 5'11"

Appearance:  Long silver hair and teal green eyes that peer out from underneath her often-to-long fringe.  Likes tight fitting attire that flatters how tall she is. Doesn't wear protective gear because it tends to get in her way.

Personality:   Open minded and amiable, Raffy is usually one to get along with just about anybody but gets pissed off easily when she's forced into a situation she can't control.  She can't stand incompetence and runs Saku's ship like clockwork.  Raffy is sensible but cunning.  Hence she is more recon and spy than she is fighter, but can hold her own if called for.  Her tongue is often as sharp as her sword.  Can be quite contrary at times.

Background:  Raffy became a pirate...well, because she was told not to.  Her older sister wanted her to help run the family store (they run a bakery) but her doting father had perhaps devoted a little too much time to letting Reffinest do what she wanted.  So she ran away.  For a number of years she roamed from town doing odd jobs before meeting Saku in Fortune Town.  Her curiosity at this wolfed-eared girl piqued, Raffy decided to tag along.  Not sure what to do with her Saku gave her a job no-one else could keep: being her First Mate.  Reffinest excelled.

Random oddities:  She likes to poke fun at other people when she knows it will rile them just to see what kind of a reaction they will have.  She keeps her secrets well, but gives others' away like she's starving.  Is the one to keep Saku on track - unless she thinks it would be more interesting if she didn't - which is often.  Likes adorably cute things to the extreme.  Only swears when she's badly injured.
